  in the 1850 US Federal Census, New York, Fishkill, Dutchess Willis Dean age 29 Catharine Dean age 30 In the 1870 Census for Fishkill District 3: Willis Dean age 49, Gardener, born in NY Catharine Dean age 50, born ini NY Emma J Dean age 20, Dressmaker 1880 Census for NY, Dutchess, Wappinger, 074 Willis Dean age 59 Catharine Dean age 60 Willis and both of his parents were born in NY Catharine and her mother were born in NY. Her father was born in Conn. Note: The 1910 Census for Wappinger, district 0087 lists Willis Dean age 88 living with his wife Virginia Dean age 55 (born abt 1855). According to "Genealogical and Family History of Central New York" by William Richard Cutter, Willis married twice. His first wife was Katherine Squires with whom they had Emma. Katherine died 2 Jan 1883 "without issue". He later married Jennie Van Voorhis on 10 Sep 1889.
