- The 1925 New York State Census for Cincinnatus, Cortland County, New York (A.D. 01; E.D. 01) shows Archie Thornton, 45, a farmer, living with his "wife" Minnie B, age 49 on Main Street. Minnie B is actually Archie's brother Charles' widow. Charles died in 1924, the year before the census was taken. Archie's wife Polly died in 1921. It appears that Archie has taken in his brother's family. Listed in this household in this census are:
